Cystic Fibrosis Sisters Wow Judges in Talent Competition
As children with cystic fibrosis, sisters Christiana and Ali were told they could never sing.
The 13- and 20-year-old girls proved that prognosis dead wrong earlier this week when they belted out the Miley Cyrus song, “The Climb,” during America’s Got Talent, wowing everyone in the audience and the judges as well, who voted unanimously to send them on to the final competition in Las Vegas.
“If we pursue our dreams, it will give us something to look forward to rather than dwell on our disease,” Ali was quoted as saying. “Cystic fibrosis does not define us. We define ourselves.”
