Join COPD Research Registry
April 24, 2007
The COPD Foundation is taking the lead in COPD research to build toward progress in finding better protocols, medicines, and a cure.
In order to move COPD research forward and help patients identify and evaluate research opportunities, the COPD
Foundation is starting a research registry.
The COPD Foundation research registry is a confidential database of
individuals diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
(COPD), as well as immediate family members who would consider
participating in research. The COPD Foundation is developing the
registry in conjunction with the National Jewish Medical & Research Center in Denver, Colorado.
The National Jewish Medical & Research
Center will host the database in order to ensure the strictest confidentiality of patient information. No researchers, nor any other third party personnel will have access to personal information (such
as names, addresses) without your prior knowledge and consent.
