Bronchodilators

Bronchodilators are used to combat bronchoconstriction, the tightening of the muscles surrounding the airways of the lungs. They are used to provide quick, complete resolution of bronchoconstriction and the symptoms that accompany it, such as cough, wheezing, and chest tightness. Bronchodilators are grouped into three classifications, Fast-Acting, Long-Acting and Anticholinergics.
